Lmfao. Man I fully believe Jay Deas is the main reason Wilder never evolved as a fighter & improved his game. Deas is completely clueless & has just been skating by off of Wilders punching power. He’s been with Wilder for however many years, wtf has he been teaching him? He literally offers no advice in the corner in between rounds. I don’t understand why or how he still has a job lol especially after the whole glove conspiracy.
You fire Breland for stopping the fight you were losing badly, but you keep the guy who watched Furys hands get wrapped & then turn around & say Fury had egg weights in his gloves. So protecting your well being is unacceptable but incompetence is okay. It makes no sense. Maybe Wilder just only wants yes men around him. Anyone that tells him the truth or tries to help him is a disloyal undercover hater.
I think deas discovered him , that's probably why he still keeps him around
