Why does he not move up to 168? Wbo gives mandatory status to a champion moving up which would make him canelos mandatory. Force canelo to give up the belt or fight him.

Should be an entertaining scrap. Quigley has some tools, and we saw Andrade almost get dropped against an aggressive B- fighter in his outing. At least Eddie is keeping him active, albeit not against the best caliber of opposition; it is what has been available. Andrade has blown his fair share of opportunities over the years, so there's some blame to go around.

Damn Andrade will retire without having fought anyone in his career. He is wasting his absolute prime fighting 2nd grade opponents. Quigley got beat by Tureano Johnson not long ago but Andrade seems alright with getting decent paychecks and keeping his belt by taking no risk fights.

Idk what to say to this, except respect to Quigley for taking the fight. Most top fighters perpetuate the big lie towards Andrade. That he can't fight, he's horrible, he can't beat anyone, he's boring, etc. Meanwhile they dance all around fighting this man. Its almost like the whole industry is collectively blackballing him. It gives me a very f....d up opinion of some of these so called top tier fighters that are really just divas. They know Andrade can hand them a loss. They're not confident in facing him and fight much lesser opponents

Hearn can tell munguia and ggg either fight Andrade or no fight. If that fails He could simply have DAZN not approve opponents like Rosado and szmerta just like they did Munguia for ggg.

Canelo has moved on from MW so that isn’t going to happen, likely never was going to either.

A promoter cant force a fighter to fight anybody. Especially an A side fighter like ggg.

If you have a network deal, they police who you fight through the approval process. That is exactly what they did when ggg was supposed to fight Munguia. They didn’t approve Munguia so no fight.

It’s an extreme suggestion but the the network can not approve anyone but Andrade for Ggg. That way he either fights or don’t get paid.

That was why i posted he must regret signing with DAZN because he can’t get the fights with the top guys and the network has prioritized other things.

Hbo rejected munguia because he was a unheard of prospect that wasnt even a middleweight. Andrade and dereavychencko asked to step in and ggg picked martiroysan instead. So hbo didnt force ggg to fight anybody. They just rejected a unknown cherry at the time.

A promoter cant force a fight. All he can do is offer more money and hope that works.

A fight only gets made when 2 fighters want to fight. GGG dont wanna fight andrade. Aint nothing dazn or hearn can do about it but up the price and he still aint guaranteed to take it. Too dangerous.

Andrade made money on dazn that he never seen prior. So i dont think he regrets it to much. He became a 7 figure fighter over there.
