At the end of the 90's there was an investigation that uncovered over 30 of his fights were fixed, it was reported in the news, shortly after the humiliation he went into MMA.

No he got real old for boxing ,his body type wouldn’t allow him to be much after the Holmes fight and he knocked out James Thompson out who was a top guy in MMA at that time though he lost to little guys getting used to the rules of that sport . You must also be new to boxing because fixed fights don’t end with trying to take th3 guys head off there’s a stipulation involved if the opponent has already agreed to lose .

Well what fights were thrown if you did the research, I’m sure anyone with intelligent thinking can see what a fixed fight looks like ? He was always on USA channel Tuesday Night Fights throughout the 90's and the fix was notorious, that's what led up to the investigation, there are clips of him missing by 2" and the opponent crumples like a rag doll. A few newspapers ran stories on it back in 1999, it was an ugly stain on boxing at the time. Look it up.
