The human brain is an amazing thing, if JMM believes that drinking piss is good for him it most likely will have a positive effect even if there really is nothing to it. It is the same concept as the placebo effect, where people just take sugar pills but actually end up feeling much better even though they are taking nothing.

Also aslong as it is his own piss it isn't that bad (disgusting but not that bad), it is a survival technique.
