We probably only got fury vs wilder because everyone thought fury was done
lmao wlad dominating the division, you mean one of the weakest divisions in the history of boxing? the same wlad who had no dog in him? ah right i remember that wlad, the punch and grab style (AMAZING) couldn't wait to see his next fights..

It all comes down to what type of fighter you like - luckily there is something for every fan category. Usyk appeals to those that like boxing as a sport and don't care much about the trash-talking aspect. Others may prefer the loud-mouthed killer who cannot speak or write a straight sentence.

I find Usyk impressive - inside the ring for his technical abilities, heart, and ring IQ, and outside the ring for his self-deprecating humor and because he has interests beyond boxing (and making money with it).

Is Usyk invincible? No. Will Usyk get beaten at some point? Probably. So what?

I don’t generally favor a one fighter but A.J is the best for the sport and when it comes down to Hrgovic it will be hard for me to decide there but Usyk is most likely going to lose the rematch so I don’t look much into that . Looking for a guy to lose because he’s undefeated isn’t actually watching boxing ,it’s basically wasting time if that’s the reason with him ,I understand Fury though who is pretty annoying but i can’t say he’s not good for the sport either . Usyk ? Yes he’s great for hardcore fans but won’t really carry the casual fans like the the others ,he doesn’t speak English and fighters these days should know that hurts your marketability .

I agree - the reason being his magnificent physique and handsome face. Add to that his overall good boxing skills and power and you have the perfect recipe to make money with. He is not the smartest, but he doesn't need to be.

Smartest in what way though ? He has his own businesses and manages fighters . Not many fighters have the intelligence to be expanding outside of boxing , the closest one to A.J is probably Wlad Klitschko.

Let's be realistic here. How much do you think AJ knows about business - do you think he knows what a balance sheet is? He obviously has good advisors from the finance, economy, marketing, and sports sectors, whom he trusts - and as it seems, rightfully so. He gives his name and face/body, and together they make money with that, similar to a TV star, model or singer who sells some new moisturizing lotion or face mask. That doesn't make him intelligent or innovative - it just means that he listens to the right people (which I suppose you can call smart in some way).

But again: AJ doesn't have to be smart - he is marketable, and much more so than all the other current ore recent HW champs, because they are either too ugly and/or low-class...or quite simply not interesting to the broad public.

The same goes for Canelo of course (who in terms of boxing ability is a step up from AJ) - would he make the same kind of money if he looked like Andy Ruiz?

AJ is a very savvy person if you listen to his interviews . It’s why he’s not liked very much on the forum ,intelligent people recognize intelligent people .

Everyone has an opinion but without being able to not insult the forum ,let’s be real ,there’s not many on here . It’s a forum .

                  Your a just a hater

he beat pulev and povetkin 2 people that worked their way to mandatory title shots recently. 10 years past their primes.

Everyone claims a division is weak when 1 guy dominates.

Crab bucket mentality. You're a hater, more like a crumb cake tbh.

Well I am afraid I might not be intelligent then, because in his interviews AJ never struck me as smart. He is humble in most of his interviews though, which I like - and which is, by itself, marketable as well (because it is in line with the "British gentleman sportsman"). And when he speaks about non sports-related issues - we all remember his comments on race - it's blatant nonsense.
