Joyce has got even slower and heavier since the WSB he'd embarrass him now to be fair.

Well, as everyone's shooting down Joe's chances, I'll say that Chisora, as slow as he is, had plenty of success against Usyk; and Joshua, as little as he landed, had Usyk pretty marked up at the end. One thing, Joyce wouldn't be as reluctant to engage as Joshua, given that he has that granite chin.

You nailed it with the granite chin. And I like the Chisora comparison. Big, unafraid, determined. I still see Usyk winning that match-up, but as s l o w as Joyce is - of hands and feet - he's still a force. And he's smart, too. Plus, I love his nickname, The Juggernaut. Very apt.

I've come to realize that Slow Joyce is no joke. He doesn't look like he turns his punches over but yet when he hits ppl, they seem to stay hit. He's very deceptive in a lot of ways. Slow but very busy with endless stamina. Doesn't turn his shots over, but has thudding power when he lands. Very good accurate jab, iron chin, no fear, also smart and instinctive in the ring. One of my favorite fighters to watch, because he makes you fight. Against him, you either fight or get run over.

He doesn't need to talk his way into it. He's already the WBO's mandatory challenger.

I would have thought that Chisora was a fair bit quicker than Joyce?

Joyce being slow but having the workrate and chin works against guys like Dubois. I don’t think he’d land anything significant on Usyk though. He’s been fairly hyped up since the win over Dubois, and rightly so as he wasn’t given much hope in the fight.

But Dubois wasn’t as great as people made out, lets not forget he didn’t stop Kevin Johnson!

The only way to answer the question is in the ring.

Joyce isn't the best Mohammad Ali, but let's be fair- he's levels above Breazele and other Charles Martins. I'd love to see Joyce against Whyte though.

I'll wager that Joe has a faster jab than Chisora, and that alone, even if it half lands, will do damage

It's hard to pick against Usyk, but 12 rounds with Joyce isn't a cakewalk for anyone.
