Usyk was sending messages to Joshua all throughout the fight. I think Usyk tried to send a message to the judges in the twelth. He wanted to make sure a winning decision would not be taken away from him - if he had his way he would've made the stoppage.

if joshua manages to land more and better shots his opponent wont look so strong in the finish, joshua can hurt him & knows he has to hurt him, he cant outbox him
