The butthurts in here are still furious that their idol Lomachenko lost. Teofimo is a hell of a fighter, puncher, boxer, etc. but the haters abound, just like with Pacquiao. Are there no objective boxing fans out there?

There has to be something else here. Is it that he will not fight Loma again? Is it the BS with the kambosis fight?

I'm a grown man, but I do respect respect. Follow me? I know the whole thing in boxing now is to get fighters to talk crap to and about eachother and build up the fight. I think it's dumb. I'm about action--not biting my nails over drama between two dudes.

Nonetheless, Lopez is on another level with this, IMO. He's way too ****y and hasn't shown anything that makes me think it's justified. He came out before Loma with "the best gotta fight the best" and was acting real. But after Loma, he just sits around verbally sniping other fighters, trying to soak in some limelight without doing anything, avoiding Loma rematch, and being a legend in his own mind. It's weak, and I don't understand why anybody is asking him anything or paying him any mind at all.

As for the rematch, I'm not sure if I want to see it or not. I like Loma, but think he should have either postponed the fight or not given away 6 rounds. IMO it was a weird decision, though, because Lopez might have looked hungrier in the first sleepy six rounds, but nothing connected, so that's even rounds right there. A lot of fights are like that, and the evasive guy doesn't usually lose all of those rounds. Second half was mostly Loma overwhelming Lopez.

That's my take. A straight answer for your straight question.

Honestly I was a fan up until he fought Lomachenko. I thought the kid had all the tools to be a huge problem and would eventually become a star.

However he barely beat Loma who had surgery 2 days later on his shoulder, is dodging the rematch but I still give him credit he beat Loma and fought a great fight. Problem is he acts like he beat 4-5 of the top guys in his division. He beat a one arm man on that night who happened to hold all the belts except 1. Now he acts like hes an all time great and a legend and a star yet he’s done nothing since the Loma win.

I am actually rooting for Kombosas to pull a Buster Douglas just so Teo has a little humble pie

It’s the fact that he beat Loma. Some people cannot accept it. Hell the first comment on this thread is “he barely beat a one armed fighter.” Loma was supposed to smoke him

In the same interview Teo talks about fighting Taylor for all the belts in an undisputed vs undisputed fight at a catchweight anywhere from 137.5 or 138 or even 139 lol. He says, the way Tank and Santa cruz did. Firstly it's Undisputed vs unified. And secondly the fight would have to be at 135 for all belts. The moment you weigh in over 135 your not eligible for those belts at 135. So the catchweight is BS. Thirdly, the chances of getting all the bodies on board would be crazy lol. I like Teo but his imagination is a little far fetched lol.

Now that's some real BS! He said he struggles to make 135, so why the catch-weight? Taylor should demand the fight @ full 140, or go ahead and fight Crawford @ full 147!

I have no complaint about Teofimo, he's achieved a lot and has Loma's scalp on his belt. I just like the way Kambosos is barking up his tree. Say what you want about Kambosos' ugly wins, he's not worried about where or when. Maybe Kambosos isn't that good, but his heart is world class, especially now, with all these stay at home workers.

I think kambosos is gonna do a lot better than people think . he's got nothing to lose and teo does .
