Close fight, nothing wrong with the decision

what’s the point of the thread anyway? - it’s world level boxing, sometimes you have close fights.

I’ll tell you what wasn’t close though, his fight v AJ.

Nope, Briedis dropped too many rounds in the 2nd half of the fight

I had it 6-6. Two judges had it 7-5 and one judge had it 6-6. Since it was the WBSS, they had a fourth judge in case of a draw and that judge also had it 6-6. Very close fight. Usyk has been lucky to have fair judging fighting in his opponents backyard all the time. I was expecting the Joshua fight to be ruled a SD at a minimum being in the UK against the top draw in boxing. Just look at Canelo and the cards he's gotten in his career.

the point of this thread is that it was a razor close fight but all the boxing experts and commentators were saying Usyk has never even had a close fight at cruiserweight. Clowns like tony bellew and roids jones were saying no one even won a round against Usyk. Bredis landed the cleaner harder punches in the fight.
