Logically, there wouldn't be much to regret.

Floyd was caught cheating with IV, which in itself invalidates Floyd's win if you are being honest.

He outlanded Floyd by about 30 punches based on neutral punch stats.

Perhaps, if he had both arms that night, he could have put on a more convincing display. But even with just 1 arm, most people agree he beat floyd.

Roy and Mayweather been beefing for years. We all know Mayweather was the one trying to make the fight. Jones just doing his hater thing cuz FLoyd made the money he didn't despite being a mega-star who tried doing it on his own and failing.

That is true and it probably has to do with Mayweather taking over the p4p spot after RJJ was knocked out by Tarver. Probably some jealousy from Roy, not over floyd having more money but over floyd getting more praise and respect and being higher rated in the all time p4p lists.

Weird enough to phone him personally with his biggest purse offer Manny ever had to fight him, then went to a Ball Game and walked right up to him in person and said Manny we got to make the fight,,,,,,,,,,

Floyd was soooooooo weird being the only one to get the fight done, I could never figure Manny never trying to contact Floyd himself, Floyd did it twice.

I disagree, RJJ turned down big deals to be his own boss, he didn't make hardly any money for it, and he was more talented than Floyd. He turned down a pretty big deal with Top Rank at one point, might have been when he turned pro. Floyd stole a lot his thunder, wasn't nearly as athletic, and cashed the big checks. Roy had to keep fighting after getting starched to stay afloat. You think he wants to be a commentator? I'm sure it's necessity. His total fight purses is like 55 million. That's got to sting when you see Floyd making that per fight. He's probably got a lot less than 10.

When Roy decided to take Russian citizenship, it became clear that he was facing big tax problems. On September 10 of this year, I flew to the United States, in his hometown of Pensacola, to meet with his lawyer John Wirt. There I signed a letter on his behalf, which guarantees to pay $ 3 million for the debts of Russian citizen Roy Jones, as well as taking care of all of his tax obligations," Hryunov explained to Life Times."

"And this is not an obligation personally to Roy, namely to its creditors. To date, I have paid $1 million. This is a very serious circumstance. Before anyone spreads any rumors, I have stayed in this commitment. After that, he began to live safely and freely. But before that there were constant reminders from collectors who were searching for additional earnings."

Hryunov says Jones made a lot of money during his career, but the majority of his funds were used on business ventures which failed.
