What advice would you give AJ for rematch?

Safe to say the Usyk fight showed AJ up. He was routinely backed up by the smaller fighter and out boxed all night.

With that said I think he still has a chance (a slim one) in the rematch and clearly he can make far more improvements than Usyk can at this point. It will come down to how much can he change and does he still have the hunger to do so.

In my opinion he seemed to be afraid to trade shots with Usyk, probably because for every punch he threw he got hit with two.

Also his tactic of trying to outbox someone considerably more skilled than him seemed crazy. I can understand preparing for a fast pace over 12 rounds but you still need to play to your strengths. AJ's main strengths are his power especially with combinations when close to Mid-range. Did his loss to ruiz make him too apprehensive to fight this way in future?

But how to fix these things? See everyone saying he needs a new trainer and I think I have to agree. Seems too many yes men around him saying how good he is and not being honest enough for him to step up.

Also liked that he chose a rocky 4 song as his entrance when in the film the shorter fighter went and beat the **** out of the tall powerful one

Use his weight advantage, go more to the body, don`t try to out-box, but fight, use clinching..

He did seem to get more success when going for the body plus would help slow him down enough to land the big shots.

Also a sharper left hook to slow the lateral movement of usyk would help.
