Pathetic? You have any idea what goes into a boxing event and it’s promotion? There’s a reason Klitschko rarely fought in Ukraine and not at the top of his career, there’s a reason Loma still hasn’t, there’s a reason Golovkin didn’t fight in his home country, it’s not some flagrant bias, how many times has Wilder travelled? The promoter that shells out all the money has to make it a business success, unless the Ukraine come out and sponsors the whole thing and put guarantees on the event then Hearn can’t be sure the money will work out. But then there’s another issue, Ukraine is in a politically unstable place right now, big events are not good idea due to the potential for them to be exploited for political or even terrorism risks. Use your head and stop hating on people without thinking through how the boxing business works.

United States would enthusiastically welcome the heavyweight champion for a defense. And would it not further Matchroom’s stated wish to be a player in US boxing?

Oleksandr Usyk's team announce Anthony Joshua has 'activated' rematch clause

"Our rematch was specified in the contract. It has already been activated in principle, from the side of Joshua"; Oleksandr Usyk's promoter wants second world title fight to be staged in Ukraine in February

        Tuesday 28 September 2021 21:36, UK

Anthony Joshua and his team are focused on a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, says Sky Sports' Adam Smith

Oleksandr Usyk's team have announced that Anthony Joshua has 'activated in principle' a rematch clause and they hope Kiev will host the fight in February.
The Ukrainian star was crowned as the new WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion after his unanimous decision win over Joshua at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.

Joshua had indicated he wanted an immediate rematch, saying at the final press conference: "100 per cent. 110 per cen

Oleksandr Usyk beat Anthony Joshua on a unanimous points decision to become world heavyweight champion
"I'm ready to get back to training. Because of the 12 rounds, my lungs and everything, it was a good 12-rounder, so I'll be in a good place when I get back into training to pick up where we left off."

Usyk held a press conference with promoter Alexander Krassyuk, who appeared to confirm that Joshua had enforced a second fight.

Joshua says he could still face Tyson Fury in the future
The Olympic Stadium in the Ukrainian capital has been put forward as a potential venue for the rematch, although Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has played down this suggestion.

Usyk said: "How does Hearn know that in February at Olympic stadium it is bad to box?

"Has he ever fought in February at the Olympic?"

Now a two-weight world champion, Usyk had warned that he could produce an even more dominant performance in another fight against Joshua.

"You didn't see the best Usyk. I can be much better," he said after his points victory.

no one is interested in boxing in the USA especially a fighter from the Ukraine who they cannot even pronounce it properly.
They are to busy shouting USA USA and watching Jake Paul fights....no way would usyk get the support or the revenue if boxed in the USA without a deontay wilder.
            that’s the facts.
Usyk if he wants the most money then he probably have to defend it in the U.K.

The article is about Usyk. You said "He's getting KOed in the rematch." It sounds like you're saying Joshua will KO Usyk in the rematch.

              Would not surprise me.

I don’t think matchroom has the capitol to put on a big fight in the usa. That dayzin money has dried up….so much for the “American takeover”

Usyk isn't motivated by money. The champ can do whatever he wants.

USA would be good option. They would love to see the return of Anthony "quitter" Johnson. For his 2nd attempt at world take over

Wilder and Fury ring side would be ideal.
