    Joshua Sounded Fine After Fight

For what it’s worth, in my non-medical opinion, Anthony Joshua sounded as if he had his wits about him after the fight. His speech appear normal, no slurring of his words, no loss in his train of thought. Perhaps he did not suffer permanent damage from this fight, even though he was clearly rattled a few times. Dispose well for his continued career. Usyk was clearly the better fighter though.

As much as I like to troll Joshua fans I had the fight even after 8 rounds. And I believe there are things AJ can do differently in a rematch. I don’t agree with all those people saying AJ should forget about a rematch.

Though Joshua seemed to have full complement of his faculties, it will be hard for him in a rematch. Usyk was able to move his head and feet for literally the entire fight. A very difficult target for Joshua to jab, or land the heavy right. Not sure if a rematch would be much different.

On a different topic, consider Joshua’s speech and diction versus, say, Sugar Ray Leonard after Duran 1, or Ali after any fight late in his career. Joshua seemed fine by that standard at least.

He has no choice. What’s he supposed to do lose control of the belts? He’s not going to do that even though Joshua could probably still earn a decent payday fighting without the belts.
