I like Taylor but he lost a mental edge after the Pavlik loss. Abraham catches him late

taylor needs to train harder than ever not because this will be his biggest test but because he needs to get a win and stop fading towards the end of his fights because if he loses this fight his status as a top fighter will be no more and he will be seen at journey man status and only as a name for up and comers resume's i like taylor and he really needs this win

Taylor should be on Sho Box or ESPN if he loses this fight. I know I'm sounding a little harder on the guy than I should be. He has a competitive spirit, but he is lacking something deep down inside that elite athletes have. I believe Taylor wants to win now that he is relegated to gatekeeper status, but his bad nerves will always let him down. I don't think he lacks training in camp necessarily, he just won't calm down and just let his punches throw naturally. He uses a lot of wasted movement, and I think that is what contributes to him gassing out all the time.

And this is coming from a fellow Taylor supporter. One who expected Taylor to get KO'd as soon as his activity level dropped off.

As much as I hope Taylor fixes his stamina issues (which he's been trying to do since training for the Pavlik rematch) the logical assumption at this point is that he can't or won't, and that AA will find him and KO him late. I'd love for him to prove me wrong though.
Nah...no need for me to rewatch, I will still stay on Taylor nuts...no need to abandon him now while the chips are down. I have Taylor winning the whole damn tourney...I see him UD AA, Kessler is the only one that concerns me in the tourney.

I'm not abandoning him... I support him and wish better for him than any active fighter, but to actually pick him to win the whole tourney is a tad delusional, don't you think?

I know he CAN beat anyone in the tourney (except for maybe Kessler) if he brings his A game for 12 rounds... but when was the last time we saw him do that? Has he ever? IMO he came closest in the Winky fight and still gave up rounds to a smaller, weaker fighter, albeit a superior boxer.

I hope he proves me wrong, but for my own sanity I'm not expecting it to happen. We've been burnt two times too many.

I'll be pulling for Jermain, but I have to pick Abraham to win this fight. He's burned me too many times now.
