He might be right that it could be a snoozer, but silly to say it should be avoided.

We want to see everyone at the top matched against each other.

Not everyone ducks the good fighters like you did, Roid.

Roy Jones hit the nail on the head. Wilder vs Usyk would be way better

In real fights, the best recipe for great fights is to put the best fighters in the ring, regardless of styles, and then see what happens. You put two punchers in the ring, they can be scared of each others power, and both fight conservative, and make a boring fight. You put a puncher vs a boxer in the ring, and if the puncher can't catch up to the boxer, you can get a boring onesided fight.

You just never know. So this whole "that would be boring" idea, ahead of time, is ridiculous. If a show hasn't happened yet, you don't know what it would be like. Even if it's boring the first time, it may be different the second time. The first GGG-Canelo show was a huge letdown, super boring, whereas the second fight was sort of average. Still not very good, still a big letdown, but a big improvement, and the fight played out much differently.

Usyk vs Fury would be a great show. Freak of nature, athletic, skilled 6'9 heavyweight vs cruiserweight/heavyweight Lomachenko. It's a very very unique show in the history of "Boxing." Based on Usyk's chin so far, he will be hard for anyone to hurt, but contrary to what Roy said, both guys can hurt each other in that fight. And Usyk is too good inside to be nullified in the clinch. There should never be a Usyk fight, vs Fury or anyone else, where he is not landing explosive, clean, powerful punches, which will make for an entertaining fight.

This is the fight to make. But I still assume AJ will win the rematch, and Wilder might beat Fury too.

As a big fan of Roy, he's one of the last boxers that needs to be using "entertainment" as a determining factor concerning a potential mega-fight such as Fury-Usyk. He spent the last decade and a half alternating between getting knocked out, dominated, fighting hand picked/club fighters, dressing like a pirate, and clutching an ancient Mike Tyson for dear life, so maybe his mind isn't what it once was. His arrogance in assuming he speaks for the entire boxing community is hilarious tho.

By that logic the Wallin fight should have been as well and Wallin damn near stopped fury in a highly entertaining dust up

The best must fight the best eventually.

                  That's what boxing needs.

Too bad Wilder can't beat Fury. Too good for the bird legged loser.

RoyJones, you're sounding retarded of late. Speak for yourself and not true boxing fans. I'll watch Usyk Fury - I want to see if Usyk can reach for greatness by defeating a monster heavyweight or whether Fury can stamp his authority over any HW opponent.

And if Wilder beats Fury I'm into a Wilder Usyk matchup - let the cards fall as they may.
