Ugh.. How hard is it to understand... It's both and you just said what I was saying. Fury used his height and size to mitigate wilders leaping right hand punches. He fought tall to lean out of the punches and not absorb them. How many times did wilder actually try his 1 punch KO? Like 6 or so times. So unlike AJ crouching down to the size of his opponent usyk, fury fought tall. But the fight was mostly won by fury roughing him up, leaning on him, wearing wilder out and then beating his @$$ while in between hitting him with jabs.
so yes, a fighter can do both stay distant and then rough the opponent out, lean on him and beat his @$$. That's what your call a diverse fighter and not a 1 trick pony.
