I'm going w/ cotto just cause he punches harder.

JLC's right hand is better than cotto's right hand, but cotto's left hook is stronger than JLC's left hook

I think Castillo overall had better technique but Cotto's sheer force and timing makes this poll a draw to be honest. Castillo is probably the best inside fighter since JCC and always found ways to land while inside. He worked your arms against you creating areas to attack and then always finishing it with a jab.

Cotto's left hook to the body is just a beautiful thing to watch because while you me and his opponent know its coming you cannot do anything to stop it. The force at which it lands makes me cringe everytime.

but cottos 140-147.....Castillo........as big a LW as he is.........shouldve moved up imo much sooner...............how about technique?.........ability to time it perfectly...................JLC had a granite chin which made it easier for him to launch those bodypunch..........

Because Mexicans look more like Pakistani's than Puerto Ricans do. And we all know Pakistani's are the best.

Castillo's bodypunch: better technique, set-up better
                Cotto's bodypunch: stronger......difficult to avoid?.....except against margarito

I dont Margarito avoided it moreso than Cotto's gameplan didn't really allow for it

i think i read an article.............saying Cotto did try to work his body.....but backpedalling and boxing a granite chin workhorse...........just wouldnt allow him too....plus the "possible plaster"
