Trainers that can be brought in to help Rob McCracken with AJ

Who do you think can bring something new to the table to improve Joshua?

Needs to go Rocky 3 style down to Reynoso's gym and work with Canelo in Mexico

I don’t think anyone would be added ,it’s either one trainer or McCracken . He did work with someone I don’t remember who ,but that’s the norm . MCCracken isn’t there most the time he usually comes in later in camp that’s not a good thing anyway .

Stacey McKingley or Ali Bashir are the best trainers for heavyweight however that would mean A.J relocates to either Detroit or wherever Bashir is ,I’m not sure he’s that committed to boxing to give up his U.K scene ? To me it wasn’t a real fight that was out of his reach, minor adjustments and some urgency I’d think A.J could and would get a win but those two guys could bring the best out of him .

Somehow I don’t really think that would go over well with the family ,that’s Tysons U.K rival . If he sticks with a U.K guy I would think Tony Sims is the guy who developed A.J really in the beginning of his career .

Peter doesn't talk to Tyson or John anyway.

Peter has a proven record at training HW boxers, it was him who turned Tyson into the fighter he is today!

Peter Fury or Shane McGuigan for me, as the latter could help to stop AJ being so stiff and give him a more relaxed slick style like Okolie has developed.

If not, he needs to move to the states and hook up with one of their guys.

McCracken is an idiot. Screaming "brilliant, AJ" every time Usyk punched him in the face was hilarious.

he actually thought AJ was winning the fight, lol.

He should go to the Kronk Gym, never mind Fury is already there.. They taught Wladimir Klitchko how to stay behind boxing's best jab at the time. AJ lost the jab war against a guy with sorter reach, incredible. McCracken doesn't know how to make sure that his fighter protects his chin, Froch never did, face first fighter with an iron chin.
The Kronk Gym or Buddy McGirt would be my choice for him.

That would be an interesting pairing. Teach AJ some Mexican style.

I doubt Rob would allow it, he often frowns upon Team GB fighters using their amateur coaches whilst they’re on the podium squad.
