you cannot maul someone to death if he is not there ..although I agree with you about fury using his size to beat him ...doing it is another matter and fury has been dropped by lesser men.
Fury needs to take on real challengers and not just talk a good fight...usyk is a supreme talent and both wilder and fury will try to steer clear of him.
as for AJ he got beat by probably the most skilled fighter in all of boxing except maybe lomachenko so no shame in it...I do not see anybody beating usyk the way he performed last night and he actually weighs more than wilder and would absolutely tie him up in knots.
a fighter that has no balance , only a right hand and no jab will get embarrassed by usyk and that’s wilder.
as for fury he has the best chance because of his size.....watch wilders movement compared to usyks to see how far apart in levels they are and yeah he mauled wilder but wilder is bambi compared to usyks level of movement and stamina
looks like we won’t see the fury Joshua fight now so it’s time to move on.
I hope fury comes in shape and ready for wilder in less than 2 weeks and wins

getting a few bumps and bruises on your face is part of boxing and when your taking shots from a 240lb heavyweight heavy hitter the punches will cause damage and you should know that

Then he has seen a bit hit n' miss really against much lesser fighters whom for most part aren't as basic.

Could those fights with Wilder and Wlad simply be a bit smoke and mirrors?

Would he be able to pin Usyk down to lean all over him and rough him up? He never stops moving.
usyk would be a nightmare for anybody no matter what height and weight advantage they have.......his movement is crazy and stamina is endless and it’s ok mauling someone yeah but can you pin down someone as quick and tricky as usyk I doubt it......I’m not saying he will over power fury but he sure as hell can win a points decision.
I knew usyk was super skilled but I thought joshua would get him the 2nd half of the fight and I was way off....usyk got stronger as the fight went on and that was against a 240lb heavy hitter with decent boxing skill....Joshua was simply outboxed , out thinked and outworked by a master boxer last night

Fury wins every second of the fight.

He is everything Oleksander Usyk is and probably more, but also six inches taller with a 55 pound weight advantage.

Usyk does not have a single path to victory.

I certainly think Fury would be the hardest matchup for Usyk but I think he would find it difficult to maul Usyk for the same reason Joshua wasn't able to bully, impose himself, or rip power punches in combination against Oleksandr. He simply isn't going to be stationary for you to do so with any regularity good luck pinning him down. Fury's reach, ability to throw underhanded punches (uppercuts) and negotiating range would present the biggest challenges.

Another thing is Chisora weighs about the same as Fury and is strong as a bull yet something that gets little mention is that in clinches Usyk was the one backing him up more often than not. Same thing during the occasional clinch in the Joshua fight. He was able to shove Joshua off of him. The Cunningham and Wallin fight show how it might be possible for Usyk to compete against a giant like Fury.

Most importantly though the buildup to the fight may be the most entertaining press conferences in boxing history.

It will be interesting to see Fury's attitude towards Usyk. I suspect he will be respectful.

Fury tickled him the first time they met.
