Why Usyk has the best footwork in boxing —->

A lot of people talk about how good Loma footwork is ——> I don’t rate it that high because it’s mostly wasteful dancing.

Why Usyk has the best feet in boxing is he attacks with a shot or two which is more like a probe and he shuffles right back and a lot if times those 1-2 shots makes fighters throw in return. This puts him directly out if range for them. At this point he’s ready to come back forward. This is very stressful for opponents.

Unlike Loma, Usyk’s feet are calculated, economical, and not like some weird rehearsed rote behavior.

Amateur trainers; like McCracken, tell fighters to takes center ring and let the opponent do all the work circling.

When you got feet like Usyk, you become a circling shark. This baseline amateur tech was really hurting AJ in the early rounds. He couldn’t get the right angles on Usyk which eventually frustrated him.

    I couldn't agree more.

We've seen for a few years now that AJ's money punch is the uppercut. He never landed it tonight because he never even threw it! Usyk's movement totally neutralized AJ's best weapon. Uncanny footwork and distance control from The Cat tonight. Genius.

      I agree

Usyk was using educated feints and getting his lead foot on the outside of AJ's, and getting out for distance control. Not much wasted movement. Everything was for a reason. Very intelligent

It only looks that way because he fought a technically limited fighter tonight.
