Canelo came up and beat Kovalev but definitely not a prime Kovalev. I think you are correct, but not to diminish what Canelo has accomplished. Both are great but Usyk's win tonight trumps Canelo's wins.
Canelo doesn't have a clean win over a fighter better than Joshua. That might make a few people cry so hopefully they can do it without quoting me because it's true.
