AJ’s strategy in the rematch should be to force a shootout. Do less thinking on the outside and attack Usyk’s body from the opening bell. He might very well lose anyway but there’s no sense in getting picked apart trying to fight from distance.

Great performance by Usyk, I'm pleased for the guy. Prior to the fight I thought Usyk would win all the early rounds but Joshua might get a late stoppage from round 10 onward.
I really don't see the rematch ending any differently unless Joshua gets lucky with a big bomb.
Last night was a match between a boxing professor and a student, a pretty decent student, but just a student none the less.

Looking aside from a Joshua rematch, who else can Usyk fight? Obviously a unification with Fury, assuming he comes out of the Wilder fight unscathed.
I can imagine that fight to be as dull as dishwater, Fury hugging and trying to dance with Usyk when Usyk lands fast combinations.
Joe Joyce maybe? Joyce has got bigger since his fight with Usyk, but not really progressed. I see Usyk dominating a second fight, but Joyce is naturally heavy-handed and if he lands a big shot could turn the fight around.

Usyk vs Wilder? If Wilder can redeem himself and become the first man not only to beat Fury, but to KO him in the process, then we have a potentially very interesting fight.
Oddly enough I think Wilder's unorthodox style would give Usyk problems. Again, Usyk wins every round until Wilder ices him.

exactly. He may be athletically gifted , but hw doesnt handle rhe moments well. His emotional resolve have certainly dwindled sionce the Ruiz upset. How did he survive Wladamr i dont know. I guess Wlad was way past it.

This is true but it seemed like any time Usyk wanted to attack Joshua couldnt handle it either.

what’s interesting is that to me, Vlad had a similar issue when it came to dealing with adversity. When they fought, I think it was a matter of Vlad being 40 plus, being off for a year and a half and not having the ability to capitalize on Aj being hurt. He ran out of gas so that allowed Aj to weather the storm. Ruiz and Usyk gave him no such break.

Joshua couldn’t handle it when he was on the outside trying to track Usyk’s movements. He might do better if he commits to closing the distance and going to the body from round 1

I've never seen anyone in the ring as tired as AJ with having done very little - he looked like he was about to collapse.

Either all his training sessions are just for PR and social media or he has asthma.
