UK really wanted to have a champion and the promoters were more than willing to sell it to them. there was alot of money to be made hyping AJ.

He got overhyped from his wlad win. He was still dropped by a 42 year old. Look at manny pac we just see him lose as a 42 year old, that is old for any boxer, but AJ got a ton of credit for beating 42 year old wlad.

Never rated Joshua highly always thought he was a stiff robot in a weak HW era, only rabid Brits and brainwashed Hearniacs thought he was some all time great. To even mention him with ATG Lennox Lewis was laughable,

He’s underrated. He just mentally checked out of the sport.

I think he beats Usyk in the rematch and he beats Fury/Wilder but he’s done. The fire is gone.

Man was taking pictures with fans before a fight. That’s a celebrity not a boxer.

            He’s only overrated by fanboys

he’s a good fighter, not a top fighter. He’s good enough to deal with solid C level Fighters and faded good names who are 40. He’s still good, just not everyone can be top level.

his resume has always been overrated. It has names, But you have to look at the stage those names were at when they fought.

Fury for instance beat long reigning champs, AJ didnt. Those are the kind of results that truly matter when the dust settles and you have to truly show your worth.

His own fanbase crazily overrated him. The real fans always knew and have done since 2012.

He mentally checked out the sport but beats all of the top heavyweights?

I think he underated and over at the same time. He deserves props for his solid resume but he always been a vulnerable fighter since his breakout win but after the Ruiz fight he lost his killer instinct which caused him to change his style which made him easier to beat at the top level. He may beat Wilder if he doesn't get caught but no way he beats Fury!
