Why is this fight so far up the bill?

Ricky Hatton was a big, big deal when he was still fighting in the UK, probably the most fanatical fanbase for a UK-based fighter ever. That's obviously worn off on his lad. I don't think he'd be ready for this level of attention at this stage of his career even if he was as talented as his dad, which he's obviously not. Wouldn't be shocked if he lost this fight.
