WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is a month away from making the second defense of his title against mandatory challenger, undefeated Andre Dirrell. The October 10 bout will take place in Froch's court of Nottingham and the fight will be part of the first series of bouts in "Super Six" tournament from Showtime.
Not only does Froch believe that he will win, he predicts the beating will be so bad that Dirrell will actually consider retirement. He sent a message to Dirrell, telling the American fighter to forget about the possibility of biased officials because he plans to end the fight with a knockout.
“Dirrell is confident, but it is my job to put him in his place and make him realise he is coming into the snake pit. After I have smashed him to smithereens he may not even want to box on," Froch told the Daily Star.
