So... is Caleb Plant about the same level of opposition as Saunders?

You said "I've seen a few people trying to pretend it's a step in the right direction for Canelo but I think he's about the same level as the euros people bitched about Canelo fighting"

Those were your words. You said people are trying to pretend it's a step in the right direction for Canelo. You clearly think Plant is not any better than Canelo's recent competition. You are saying that Plant is the same level as Canelo's recent opponents, and that people are 'trying to pretend' it is step in the right direction.

I pointed out, which is obvious, that Canelo has been fighting the best resume of anyone in the last 1-10 fights, pick a number. You used to be a solid poster. You no longer really make any sense.

Plant is a much more skilled and gifted fighter. Saunders has looked ****e for a while against worse fighters than Uzcategui. It will be a much better fight than most think.

          - -Well, BJ was a Gypsy, yeah, Gypsy, and Gyps don't quit because they born to fight from the cradle, yeah!

Plant has more options. He could be a turnip, a rutabaga, an eggplant or a houseplant, but more probably a tomato(e), ie Splotto(e)...

Pretty much the exact same level.

I've watched plant for years and never seen anything special about him but I think some circles are wishful thinking, he will fall apart and get ko'd as soon as Canelo feels like it's time to hit the bar.

I thought Saunders and Plant were of similar ability, Saunders being even more trickier. i expect canelo to Win handily but lets not pretend Billie JOE made it somewhat competitive without really doing anything. Plant is taller and rangier so he could be a handful for......... No who am i kidding he suffers the same fate as BILLIE jOE but to the opposite eye he was slapped on yesterday

Don’t worry about Mammoth. He cried that Canelo had to face Jacobs, and when Canelo did, he went quiet. He’s just in a season to show that chip over his shoulder.

Much the same level I'd say, he's not done anything that'd make me think he's better than Saunders on a good day. I don't actually give him the slightest shot here. His best shot at surviving would be to get on his bike but even if that somehow worked he's losing wide on points anyway.

Can't imagine what folk think might be a winning strategy for him TBH.

I'm not saying they're not decent sorta scalps, but neither do they really do much to raise Canelo's stock higher than it already is.

I wish there was somebody else around one of the divisions Canelo fights in that regularly fought good competition. 168 is weak but nobody there has done much other than Canelo.
