Even though Canelo is my P4P right now, I’ll add one more to Plant’s list - Austin Trout. Even with the KD that was a close fight. But we have to acknowledge that Canelo fought a lot different back then. He’s more powerful now, has better defense and he walks down EVERYBODY. Plant will need the stamina of Ali to endure. If he works on nothing else he needs to drastically improve his conditioning.

I agree with some but not all of what Plant said. Canelo looked in control against Saunders and a faded version of Kovalev.

Plant needed some step up fights before taking on someone like Canelo. He's not been in with anyone even 2 or 3 levels below Canelo. Maybe Ward sparred with him to give him a taste of what elite feels like, but I doubt it makes a difference. When you've been in with a bunch of tomato cans, those first few rounds with a top 3 P4P guy will be shocking.

Will be a big deal if Plant can beat Canelo at this stage. I think Canelo will get a KO like in most of his fights but Plant will have his chance to do what he does.

So u noticed the name of ppl that beat canelo Mayweather hall of famer. GGG a top 5 middleweight champ all time lara a defense wizard. Kovolav even an aged one was keepinh up with nelo til caught but u do realize kov fought ward 2x n to alot of ppl beat ward the first fight. All the names are levels better than plant as for plant only gotta punchers chance n cause not huge puncher that chance very slim. Only loss i see for canelo is beterbiev. If ggg beat em beterbiev bigger n stronger would def beat nelo other than that no1 beats nelo for forseable future

As beatable as Canelo may have looked to Plant, Plant is gonna get beaten by Canelo.....probably by stoppage.
