People read way too much into sparring vids on youtube. Bear in mind this was filmed a week or so after Khan got destroyed by Prescott, when Pacquiao had only just begun his camp for the De La Hoya fight.

Khan has the natural size advantage and a bit of speed, that's about it. If Pacquiao landed cleanly he'd take Amir's head off.

The spar looked fairly even, manny looked like he had another gear in there though.

Manny would annihilate Khan in a real fight. I've seen it happen in the gym, two good fighters, but one a bit more experienced than the other, doing some sparring, looks fairly even, sometimes even with the less experienced guy getting on top, but when they get into the ring for a real bout, it's a completely different story. Manny has too much experience, and knows how to handle pressure, KD's etc much better than Khan. Khan would crumble in a real fight vs Manny.

I remember seeing this video a couple years back at mannypacquiao.ph
If i remember correctly, they were saying, Pac was laying back and letting Khan do the Punching. Later, Pac took to the offensive and we should know what ended up happening.

I bet this guy Manuel Perez has nightmares about Pac:

Manuel Perez: Hatton Wins Weigh-In Stare Down, Pacquiao Looks Scared
            ...
It was bad, because Pacquiao couldn’t look into Hatton’s eyes and looked really submissive and not at all confident. I’ve seen a gillion weigh-ins before, but never have I seen a fighter get stared down as badly as Hatton did to Pacquiao. It seemed that Pacquiao couldn’t wait to get off the stage, and get away from Hatton as fast as possible.

I wasn’t entirely sure who was going to win tonight’s fight until I saw the weigh-in, and now I’m positively certain that Hatton will be knocking Pacquiao out before long.
            ...

Yep, looked like Manny could turn it on (the heat) or off at will. When he hit Khan with that uppercut, Khan disappeared from the screen, lol.

Khan got the best of it, but he didn't whoop him. He clearly was trying really hard to look good. Pac looked like he was phoning it in. And that straight left at the end would have dropped Khan in a real fight.
