Headgear like the kind he was wearing doesn't protect your face. It just protects from headbutts and provides some padding for head shots. He obviously got his nose busted by Floyd so of course he is going to bleed.

Larry you've never boxed in your life.

I'm an amateur boxer and as much as I wish I could say the opposite, head gears without bars do NOT protect the nose.

Also, I have a sensitive nose that bleeds a LOT, and thats only from one nostril. yet with the intensity of boxing, it looks like I'm covered in it, looks even worse when wearing a t-shirt etc. Bleeding is common etc. I can get a nosebleed from a noob with a hard jab.

That guy was fighting the number 1 fighter on the planet.
