Will the 2 years HURT or HELP Mayweather???

I actually think the 2 years away will HELP him..he had back problems, hand problems and is a known OVERTRAINER....so 2 years with rest and not traing like a madman and not getting hit will help him more then hurt him..the ring rust will be gone by the end of the first round.....Boxing is what he does...he knew how to box before he knew how to read or write.

Everyone will have there opinion but there's only one way to find out...

The rust may show early on but I think he's a much better fighter than Marquez for it to hurt him throughout the fight...

Marquez's best shot is to box with Floyd and hope his timing and accuracy is off...if he tries to pressure and swarm Floyd I think Floyd will show him that he does hit hard if necessary...

Hard to say really, a layoff doesn't really help anyway to be fair... but at the end of the day it could do 2 things, either affect Floyd and make him a bit rusty... or the layoff could have given him time for some of his injuries to heal over more, or even both... so I aint sure to be honest.

I get that but the only reason Im leaning towards it helping him is because how well he knows this ****...boxing is like walking to this guy.

          it won't help or hurt.

anyways... jmm is too small to take advantage even if floyd is rusty.

He's a great fighter, but I don't think he's immune to being rusty. I think he'll have to shake it off in the first few rounds.

I think it will hurt him because now he's 2 years older. That's a lot for when you're over 30 in boxing. I guess you could also make the argument that it helped him since back in 2007, he was tired of boxing and wanted to retire. If he kept going he might have lost focus.

Overall, I would say it hurt him more.
