I think for now he can judge any 4-6 rounds fight but for the next 2 years he shouldn’t be judging any championship fights or even 10 rounders where the stakes are higher.

also critique his judging in those 4-6 round fights to see if the judge has learn from his mistakes

Well Blea. You're only human. We all had bad days at the office (some more than others). If only other judges can own up to their fck ups.

You know whats (who) is being forgotten in this whole clusterfuq...Miguel Berchelt. I just watched the Valdez v Berchelt fight on youtube and he really took a serious beating. The screams and moans that he was making when being hit by Valdez were horrible. Even when he was on the stretcher being loaded into the ambulance he looked like he was dying. Man if Valdez was juiced up during that fight there should be criminal charges. This reminds me of Margecheato v Cotto I. Berchelt needs his shot at redemption!

Damage control. Same as Golovkin/Canelo and Adalaide Byrd.

I don't buy it..Sounds like he's trying to bail out of an investigation or something..
First he used the good'ol "Where I was sitting I had poor vision of the fight excuse"(same excuse judge Eugina Williams used in the first Lewis/Holyfield fight)
& if he was distracted by the noise, then he's not fit to be a judge & what about them hundreds of other fights he claims he supposedly worked around the world, ¿there was no noise? ¿It was in complete silence? & ¿where the hell was he sitting? That supposedly had people blocking his vision & stepping on his hands.
& the things he claims he did(like giving the benefit to the champ in close rounds) in other words favoring a fighter for whatever reason are the things ALL respectable Boxing jugdes say they are NOT suppose to do(that's like one of the top rules)
At the end trying justify the unjustifiable he claims he's somewhat suspending himself & taking some courses ect to come back..
After watching the fight, & seeing his scorecard & reading this letter he wrote, he should do what boxing judge C.J. Ross did after that just as crazy scorecard in the Canelo/Mayweather fight, she stopped judging & hasn't come back since, he should do the same.

Yes, when fighters livelihoods and lives are at stake, there should be no obstructions in the judges' view.

Although credit to the guy for admitting some mistakes, scoring it albeit narrowly for Valdez still wasn't the right decision

It is not incompetence. It is intentional corruption. It always falls in favour of the American or the Mexican. Never the overseas fighter. Incompetence would have the results going either way over the years. It does not. It goes the same way, every time. This is done with intent. None of this is a mistake.

Why not put the judges altogether in one room with a big screen and no sounds then score the bout accordingly base on what they see... Time to change the system.. judging it personally in one seat or location sometimes they cant see everything as angles or their position is also a factor.

Valdez won is the bottom line. It isn't as if the judge said otherwise yeah his card was wide and his excuses weak, but nothing like Adelaide Byrds card in GGG V Canelo 1.
