I've noticed the flurry is a dying art form Hagler is by far my all time favorite flurrying fighter,Foremans enormous bags of sand were also legendary.(& Of course Mike & Evander)
I've noticed fighters like Canelo would be unstoppable if he knew how to use a flurry properly, but I think its because Reynoso doesn't normally tell his fighters to go for kos,& thats always been a bit of a hole in Canelos game,he doesn't have straight left/right combos in his arsenal,he sorta winds up punches.
(He did kinda flurry v BJS which Reynoso said was 1st time he ever told a fighter he wants the ko at all costs(BJS got under both trainer & fighters skin)
It seems like you no longer have many Hagler type flurrying fighters anymore.(its almost as if todays fighters are so bulky they don't have the stamina to flurry without tiring out & getting sparked)
