he let those rounds go away regardless, he kept tying up the last 4 rounds, threw fewer punches, what did you think was going to happen?
Valdez didn’t do much those last 4 rounds as well. He’s lucky Robson wasn’t use to being in championship rounds thus he gave up rounds in some people’s eyes. Valdez looked bad

I completely agree with you with Robson not having that experience
but my thing is, they've seen that movie play out before in other fights.
Slick fighters run away in the championship rounds and lose the fight
why not learn from that already, like they already have stuff stacked against them,
like what is his trainer thinking telling not to push the pedal
An absolutely embarrassing ending to what I thought was a pretty decent card. You’re right it’s not a war of faces, assuming that face was battered in just a few spots by just a few punches….. his whole face was messed up as the Brazilian said. Valdez didn’t outland him in a single round and even the ones that’s were closer in landing totals it’s not like Valdez was landing significantly higher quality punches. Valdez got whipped. In every single aspect of that fight.

True. Would love to see Robson get another good opponent at 130 to see if he learned from the Valdez fight.
I feel bad for Valdez, he’s in a tough spot. He can drain himself to stay at 130 and get paid peanuts to fight the winner of Herring-Stevenson next or move up to 135 and fight somebody like Ryan Garcia or Haney and make more $$$. Arum and Top Rank don’t want to pay these guys
Conceicao landed double the punched and clearly landed the harder shots. I have never used this word for a modern boxing match, but between the drug test, the point deduction and the scorecard, I think it's fair to just go ahead and call this one fixed.
Valdez getting treated like he is this huge Draw and the Boxing World needs him or something. Talk about Superstar Treatment this last Couple of Weeks WOW!
