Yup I stil remember the Chi fighting Morales...that was a krazi fight, but what fight w/out Morales isn't lok'd out!

Juarez-Chi...SD going to NEW champ Juarez.

I dont think Chi has the speed of Z.Raheem to frustrate Rocky. Plus Chi has those huge ass calfs I think he's going to be looking to go to war and test the youngsta. Hopefully there are a few knockdowns on both sides. PPV fight?

        Forrest totally dominated Mosley.

        Two different things.

As for Juarez, he definitely lost vs Raheem.
I have to disagree. Jones, at best, eeked out a draw in the first fight, and every boxing magazine I subscribe to all said the same thing; that Jones had finally met someone who's style was a problem for him, and that his ego would be his downfall by fighting the rematch. Thats word for word what Ring and many others said after that first bout. And its amusing that nobody thought or said that Jones was 'old' until Tarver beat him. I still think Tarver's style was the problem for Jones, and would have been regardless of when they fought. Just my opinion, of course

          Time will tell with Juarez...
I had Juarez winning that fight with the point deductions and the knockdown. In my opinion the ref didn't do any favors to Raheem by taking away the points but he did do him a favor by taking away Rocky's inside fighting by breaking them up so quick. If Rocky had been allowed to fighting on the inside I think he would of stopped Raheem later in the fight.

A rematch of that would be nice. or for juraez to take on a contendor.

            at least he's exciting.

Nobody really knows if Juarez is overrated rated or not up to this point. But his next bout will surely does. The tough Korean is Juarez's key to the top. If he get's past Chi, then Juarez is definitely ready for the big boys namely Pacquiao, Marquez, Barrera, Harrison, etc.

always have loved your opinion, though I think you bring up Jones in about every post, j/k.

I actually said jones had gotten old DURING Jones-Tarver I. I mean the guy just laid on the ropes half the time. Jones hasnt got his legs anymore. I havnt watched the Johnson fight again, but I think itd be fun to time how long he spent OFF the ropes.

Believe it or not, I dont intend to bring Jones up all the time, and didnt realize that I did til you pointed it out. I'll work on that some, ok.
I didnt see your post about him being old, etc...so I'll take your word for it

                      hmm

Tarver's style gave problems to Roy when Roy was 34/35. This Roy has dramatacially less footwork than the young Roy, and that's the main difference.

I have my own polls on ********** (they HATE Roy for the most part) and 80% thought Roy won the 1st fight.

Plenty of people thought Roy was slowing down, even since the Woods fight...but they also thought that he was able to get away with it at that point.

2.5 years later, after losing muscle to come back to lightheavy, he wasn't able to get away with it. Roy is only human after all, but fighting him at 35 and fighting him at 25 are two totally different things.

Problems or not, prime vs prime, I doubt 20% of anyone on this site would pick Tarver to win.
