Some ''grudge'' (or maybe I missed it)

Boxing has been a clown show since its inception. Everyone wants to make believe they were around 100 years ago and know it all. Go look up the 1930s, boxers fighting in tiny rings. Like real tiny rings.
Wannabe “hardcore boxing fans” want to look smart and historically knowledgeable while proving with their complaints that they don’t know what the hell they are talking about. They are just guessing, or assuming, that back then there were unicorns and leprechauns.
Exhibition fights started in the 20th century with beloved fighters like Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey.
George Foreman fighting 5 “boxers” in one night in 1975.
Muhammad Ali vs. Antonio Inoki, a pro wrestler, in 1976. Ali held a ton of exhibition clown shows. To name a few, Lyle Alzado an NFL player. Gorilla Monsoon, a pro wrestler. A hockey player, and a comedian.
DLH vs Shaq
Let’s not get carried away with “what boxing has become”.
Pro boxing has always had a working relationship with another circus show: Pro wrestling. Before Mayweather appeared on WWE vs The Big Show, there was Ali, Buster Douglas, Butterbean, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield,
This is not new. Boxing has always had these circus acts. Always. There was never this fantasy period in boxing that clueless fans like to reminisce about.

your right there have always been exhibitions but at least the legends were against other accomplished individuals but now you have nobodies/conmen like Fournier and YouTubers like the Paul brothers who are chancing at the game and trying to pass off as fighters and coupled with that in the legitimate game ( if there is still one) you have fitness trainers being granted trainers licenses and calling themselves trainers, where are the coaches these days ? .. that’s why people shake their head and feel embarrassed about their beloved sport and don’t even start me on female boxing so that’s why people comment as they do my learned friend ..Comment
