I think this could end sadly. Holyfield sounded very foggy to me in the interview and looked very slow on the pads.

As fit and strong as Holyfield is for his age, I am worried about the implications of him continuing to box.

As observed by others, he looks very very slow, his reflexes and head movement are gone, so he will be taking shots. Don't get me wrong, he'd still spark me no sweat, but against trained opposition I think he could get badly hurt and he deserves better.

Too brave for his own good and this is when he needs people around him to step up and tell him the real deal... Exhibitions, sparring- fine but not a live contest. Good luck to him and hopefully he stays fit and healthy.

He is a true warrior and a real legend, one of my favourite boxers ever but I won't be watching him this time around.

Holyfield looks good for 58, but he's slow and sluggish. Hopefully his boxing experience will be enough to carry him through without getting hurt. How many rounds is this fight and are they 3 minute rounds? The longer this goes the more it favors Belfort.

It’s supposed to be 8 rounds at 2 mins per round. Hell I hope Holyfield doesn’t get hurt!

He is in better shape then most 40+. His physique anyways is better then a lot of current day heavies isn’t it.

Glad we’ve cleared that up and I hope you enjoy rest of your day, or night depending on location!!
No offence at all, i probably word it wrongly myself , I am 42 and he definitely put me to shame with his physique. And yeah he is in a better shape than some of the current top 10 HWs… You have a great day too mate.

To me, he looks like a man who knows how to move for his age. I'm nowhere near as old as Holy, but when you get up there, one wrong move and you're injured. Happened to me a few times. Working in the garden, got up wrong, thought I retore my meniscus. He's at that age where if he ties his shoes at the wrong angle there could be hell to pay.

I saw the pad work, looked very methodical and calculated with overtones of being out of cardiovascular shape which is expected for his age.
