You are referring to Ryan Garcia when referring to fighters not wanting to fight for his belt. With Ryan, that dude is going to make his money no matter who he fights. He can fight lesser rated fighters and not take a big financial hit for not fighting Haney.

Fact is Haney needs Garcia more than Garcia needs him. Haney has a belt but brings no equivalent monetary reward which is what it takes if he wants Garcia to bless him with his biggest payday.

Haney can’t sell out his hometown even if he gave free tickets out.

Haney just doesn’t have a fan friendly style. At this point why would an up and comer like Garcia want to fight him at this point and potentially get himself made to look bad in a shhty fight. Haney needs to build himself up more on that fan and money front then I guarantee Garcia would be willing to take that risk.

Haney needs to fight Teo, or Tank to build his profile up. Because fighting the caliber he’s fought is not generating any spark in his quest to be noticed by that sports and casual world.

Ryan situation is old news, been knew he wasn't all that interested in fighting Haney even when they did their little face off and he was talking about "Not Right Now...". I'm talking about Rolly who was very disrespectful and was calling Haney out of his name only for him to Back Out and say "Not Worth My Time" then is now running around say Devin Priced Himself Out. Also add JoJo Diaz recently to that list as well after talking up the fight on a live stream with Bill Haney and talking about how he and MTK was in control only for Oscar to come out and shoot down any rumors of him negotiating with Haney and that fight happening saying "He Has Other Plans For Jojo Diaz". On top of Teofimo he seems to be in no rush to settle that WBC mess and fighting Haney so that it won't be another guy running around saying he is WBC Champion too. Tank also seems very Passive on fighting Haney too, both him and his team Ellerbe and Haney (who has a closer Relationship with Mayweather than Tank does)

So yeah I see Complete BS at 135 but again fans have these Double Standards and seems to only Remember what the want to Remember and See what they want to See. Of course everybody wants Ryan because they see what a lot of us fans see, he is the Weakest Link with a big Following on Social Media. So yeah Teofimo, Tank, Haney, Rolly, Jojo Diaz are in a race to get to him first because they see him as Most Vulnerable stylistically on top of the Mental Health Issues which NEVER really goes away
