If Fox or Showtime win this bid will they put it on free to air or do you think a 90 Dollar PPV is going to happen? Would that help to push it to the masses?
This fight will never be on DAZN. I also dont think its a PPV fight. Hopefully it will be done on ESPN non PPV.

        You must be dreaming......
Terence Crawford gives up his title because of a purse bid?
        Lol
        Never happen
No he's not crazy or dreaming. If it goes to purse bid, which it won't, and DAZN wins it then Al will simply tell Porter to walk away and just wait for Crawford's contract to run out and sign him to PBC. Bob knows that this is his last fight with Crawford so he will do all he can to squeeze his last penny out of Crawford before he signs with Al.

And neither fighter are big sellers, ppl love to point out how little they care about Crawford. The current trend even for a Tank or Spence shows they can't break 250k.

Personally I hope it goes on DAZN cuz I've got DAZN where as I have Sky and BT sport but there is no guarantee they would pick the fight up. My issue is with the DAZN haters like yourself who claim it would be a detrement to the sport if they were to win the bid where it would be good for the sport for FOX or Showtime to charge 90 bucks for it and get not many ppl paying for it.

You are anti DAZN which in truth is because you are anti Eddie Hearn. I don't know exactly how many US subscribers DAZN has in the US but if a FOX PPV only brings in 200 or 250k then how is that giving it to a much larger audience? Just cuz the wider market is there it doesn't mean they will be watching.

My problem with the PBC is the blocking of good fights and if Porter walks away if DAZN win the bid then that would be just another example of what my problem is.

I hear all you anti-Haymon guys keep going on about fights he blocked but never tell us any real fights that he blocked. He cant block Spence-Crawford or Fury-AJ because he's not their promoter. And further more you live in Europe but you keep lecturing us Americans on how well DAZN is doing over here. I'm in America and for the last damn time I'm telling you they are failing miserably. If they had any chance of success they needed the support of all boxing fans over here and not just one demographic. It wasn't smart to piss off half of the fanbase and try to play divide and conquer. It didnt work. Im in DC and a lot of casual fans rely on me to keep them informed of what's going on in the boxing world. I always bad mouth DAZN and have personally kept about 100 people from getting the App. Why....because I want them to fail. So fuq DAZN, fuq Hearn and fuq all his supporters!

Terrence Crawford would never give up his belt..that's his only bargaining power he has left
              He doesn't need Bob Arum

                  FYI
AL Haymon is the Boxer's advisor
He can block any fight he wants by advising his fighter not to take it

It is so easy to fix American boxing if they wanted to and all fight fans in the US should wish for the following scenario to happen sooner rather than later: 1) GBP DAZN's contract runs out at the end of the year...they should immediately sign a deal with Showtime, it's their only real natural move they should make. Not thriller. That takes away a 'side of the street' from PBC and GBP. Can you just imagine if that happened then in 2022 we can get TANK v RYAN....DEVIN v JOJO...BOOTS v VIRGIL....JERMALL v MUNGIA....ZURDO v D JACOBS. You cant tell me that 2022 wouldn't be a dream year for Showtime boxing 2) DISNEY Corp owns both FOX and ESPN and should sit Al and Bob down in a meeting and explain to them that if they don't start working together then they will kick both of them off their networks and we will all be screwed. The NFL and NBA have no problems working with multiple networks like FOX ESPN CBS TNT TBS so it can be done 3) Al, Bob, Oscar, Steve Espinoza, FOX and ESPN reps get in a room lock the door and figure it out 4)DROP THE BELTS AND ALL THE SANCTIONING BODIES 5) create a FOX belt, an ESPN belt and a Showtime belt, only ONE BELT PER DIVISION 6) make all the fights, no more 'sides of the street' fighters can go on all 3 networks 7) just to be petty.. make a deal across the pond with SKY sports to show all American fights so they can put DAZN UK out of business 8) PROBLEM SOLVED!
