I think down the line if Sonsosa keeps up his good form and improves a bit technically, and Donaire keeps taking names then this would be a great fight. But right now it is not the right time for it.

it will never happen because donaire will be fighting in the heavyweights next .....!@%&
too ambitious brat. depending on sonsona's handler's this kid might soon be the next pinoy boxing king. they just need to pick the right fights for this kid and he'll be a champion for a while. don't be fooled by darchinyan's challenge, he needs a little more experience. let donaire and darchinyan slug it out because they both have big mouths.

I'm actually surprised they put the kid in there with not even 15 fights yet, against a seasoned veteran. I mean I guess it's the best way to see what your kid is made of, but damn, so early and soon? He's what? 19 years old? Then by 22 he might become spoiled goods. Never even getting to see his true prime years because of being damaged early. I don't know what they are thinking. Pushing all these kids out there trying to get a new cash cow for Pacquiao's imminent retirement when all these kids need a good 8 years or so before they even reach their prime.

Just a lil history lesson. Tito destroyed young champs like David Reid and Fernando Vargas

This kid Sonsona is still raw but with admirable natural power. I hope his handlers and those guiding his career, would map out a sensible path to his future. Promoter Gello-ani and Leibowitz made a gamble on this kid and it paid off. If Sonsona is handled properly, he has a bright future. I like his tenacity, killer instinct. And he's got a rock solid chin.He is also tall for a Pinoy.I would love to see him fight against Donaire, when there is nothing more left intheir division ( non-Filipino ) to fight for.
