Kinda true, but RJJ and Hopkins declined because they dont trust foreign soil.

I admire what Kostya is doing, but its still doesnt make it the champs obligation to travel into the challenger's backyard. Plus Kostya has simply had a different upbringing. He's fought all over the world already as an amatuer. He's used to fighting in other's backyards.

Maybe Calzaghe should learn how to swim and quit hiding behind Frank Warren. Jump out of the pond(shallow) end when you're ready to swim.

Well, it looks like Mayweather feels like he deserves more than what he's being offered based on his talent and what he brings to the ring. Its a shame that the business doesn't work that way. If a fight against him and Oscar De La Hoya does ever materialize, he's going to have to swallow his pride and take whatever De La Hoya wants to give 'em, because if he's serious about wanting De La Hoya at 147, he's going to have to realize that the way things should be isn't the way they're always going to be (Well, at least that holds true for the Gatti situation.) Yes, I do think he should get 50/50 (For the Gatti fight), and yes, I may be a bit biased because I'm a fan..

          Point Being:

Mayweather likes to eat New York Strip steak:

as opposed to snacking on peanuts. I cant blame him.

What would fighting Gatti prove? DLH is 100x the fighter Gatti

dreams of being. Gatti is a waste of his time.

actually, i'm very new to boxingscene.com, and i wanted to konw who you would bet on for this match (if it ever happens to be^^).
Personnally, i think mayweather would win but i'm 100% for Gatti (i really like this boxer and ...i'm french so...).
ok: Bets are open! i bet on gatti if he ever box with mayweather (even if lose this bet, i don't care)

I'm betting a softball so Gatti can show off more of his new, impressive boxing.

I mean if he's still keeping his June date open and its too late to promote a high profile fight with JR...then its safe to say the fight in June isnt going to high profile. aka, no Cotto, Harris, etc.

                      Maybe a little:

                      Arturo "thunder" Gatti
                      VERSUS
DeMarcus "worst finisher of all time" Corley
