Just reading through his profile - something is off.
He’s a 27-yr old former rave, gig, festival, party, artist, etc. promoter who studied Law. And he won’t be promoting like the traditional promoter - he’ll take the Al Haymon approach. Then at such a very young age, he landed a massive gig on Skysports to be supported by Arum.
Once you see the similarities between his profile and Al Haymon’s (except Al was more experienced and was already a legend) - it looks like he was groomed to be a front for underworld organisation. He’s also from Manchester and close with Peter Fury.
Eddie Hearn also copied Al Haymon and most of what he does is modelled after Al. However, his dad is a Hall of Fame promoter and he was born with a silver spoon. Ben Shalom doesn’t have that luxury and he came out of nowhere to land a massive deal at such a tender age. So who’s the unseen hand behind him?
I’m not the biggest Al Haymon fan but it seems all the smart young promoter are following his blueprint. He definitely changed the game.
