The boxing is beautiful, he tamed the monster. He used the ring well, these sluggers can't shut the doors. The big ring didn't hurt, but Straffron should have seen it coming. If I can tell you, there will be a big ring, that's how it's done.

If the fight was in a phonebooth you'd claim the ring was big. How big is it to you? It looks like the average size.

Granados was the one who used the ring by running like a punk. Hughes moved very little as well. He beat that Mexican half to death. The difference to being prepared and being ill prepared, is day and night. Hughes isn't even a puncher or a top fighter. But he he had the Mexican looking like he'd been hit by a prime Mike Tyson. Utter domination.

Fight of the night. Maxi maxed his opportunity. He used the ring to his advantage, he followed the script. Josh only wishes he could box like Maxi. It was up to Maxi to do the work, take advantage of any edge. Manny would have knocked Spences eye out if he knew ahead of time. That being said, Maxi isn't a power house and Straffron, is a one hit wonder.

This was the fight I was looking forward to and enjoyed the most. Didn't think Maxi could handle the power and pressure but he used some nice boxing to frustrate and hurt the Mexican. Hughes has been on a quite nice run. Brilliant performance. Cong**** to him on his resurgence.
