Boogeyman Oldtiz has a fan - the Bryant Jennings killer.

Ortiz is already reached his longest layoff and that was against Alexander Flores his last fight in 2019 which lasted 1 round so not sure if that even counts ? He’s going to have severe ring rust if or when he returns, times definitely not on his side struggled badly with Hammer his last real fight . Ortiz doesn’t really bring anything ,if you defeat him there will be a lost long of excuses and he’s not a draw .

It’ll be over a year most likely when he fights again ,guys like this really shouldn’t be near the top 5 .the Wilder fan base knows this but they like to lie it’s easier then posting real talk because it doesn’t require much thinking .

Old man Ortiz has about one notable win in the last decade, never fights and is 57 years old now.

But ldbc keep pushing this guy as some legit killer, I wonder why?

Ortiz has been ducked more than anyone else. No one wants to fight him. I like Wilder, yes. Having said that, why has Ortiz been consistently rated highly in the WBC and IBF (WBA doesn’t even count at this point) yet no one will fight him? And you have people on this board trying to tell me Arreola is a contender

The only thing ducking Oldtiz is retirement.

I don’t see any Brits the least bit interested in him despite his standing - and it would be a much bigger fight than whyte vs someone no one has ever heard of

They'll say that Ortiz is an old man who hasn't beaten anybody. But they'll never actually get in the ring with that old man and pick up the supposedly easy, high profile win.
