Arreola knocked Ruiz down if you missed it and that was with a 21 month layoff ,who’s to say he doesn’t come in for Whyte much better prepared now being active ?
What has Ortiz done in 3 years to declare Ortiz a better fight ,he was nearly knocked down by Christian Hammer he then fought Wilder who saw that then Alexander Flores those guys are not better then Arreola besides Wilder two years ago and actually Arreola could have gone the distance with Wilder because he was fatigued and quit on his stool near the end of the fight and he had a 3 week camp going into the Wilder fight .
Ortiz hasn’t fought in 11 months , Arreola fought May 2021 and with an actual top fighter not a Flores so I don’t even count that fight that lasted one round . So Ortiz has nearly been inactive in the ring for almost 2 years and counting .

You can say it’s hard to get fights but offering one fight to Ruiz doesn’t mean much ,he never tries to make fights in fact his own team has openly admitted to declining AJ and Ortiz has declined Whyte twice now and only wanted the fight when he knew Whyte was scheduled to do a PPV in the U.K he was offered that fight but there’s literally several guys he could have fought for 10 years now no one is avoided that much . The truth is he likes to take easy fights if he can and is hoping to land a Wilder 3 himself.Last edited by REDEEMER; 09-05-2021, 07:42 AM.Comment
