It was shocking, Taylor is a pretty big draw in Scotland as well tbf, I’ve been too quite a lot of his fights and he was selling out arenas in Scotland within 10 fights. He just isn’t a big draw in England, which is to be expected with him being a Scot. It’s a bit like Pascal, Bute or Stevenson massive draws in Canada but not so much in the USA.

I think the time when he went all Joseph goebbels and told people not to ‘go in their shops’ at a *** rally didn’t help either

Yeah, but man one of these broadcasters should have stepped up and purchased the fight...It wasn't even going to be all that expensive of one.

You’re talking to an illiterate booty scratching muppet who doesn’t know basic geography.
How can a learned person compare Canada and the US with Scotland and England. The first two are two separate independent countries while the last two are the same country albeit in a confederation. Comparing the French and English parts of Canada with Scotland and England would be more sensible.
Anyway, JT just isn’t a big draw and even in Scotland , he has NEVER been as big as Ricky Burns was.
England doesn’t really do sectionalism when it comes to boxing. If you’re great and have the qualities the fans like - you’ll become a draw. Calzaghe is Welsh and he was selling out arenas in England. JT isn’t really proven and his big mouth doesn’t help. When he steps up to a better division and beat a formidable opponent - us English fans will warm up to him.Comment

I don’t hate him - he just has a big mouth for someone who’s yet to beat anyone. 140 is the worst division in boxing and he’s yet to beat anyone with a decent pedigree. When he beats someone I rate, I’ll give him his flowers.
How can I be an “anti Brit American” when I’m fully Brit from Londinium?
Or is London now a separate country like the City of London? We might be a tad different from the rest of the country but the last time I checked we still wave the same Union Jack.

I don't know where your from, I was just putting some options in there to see the reaction lol. For all I know you are related to the Mcguigans. That was all tongue in cheek. But you clearly don't like if not hate Josh Taylor. He doesn't have a bigger mouth than lots of others. He's just confident in his abilities. What has he said that's upset you Iol. If you don't rate him that's fine but your assessment was a bit harsh as you don't achieve what he's done in 18 fights and have less talent than the people you suggested, hence the exaggeration. That's when you suspect that someone really doesn't like a fighter when the criticism is unrealistic. I do respect your opinion to to not like a fighter just keep it real is all.
