You peeps better stop mentioning Duran when defending Mayweather

uuurrrrr, Duran yea, he came up from Lightweight to beat Sugar Ray Leonard, huh huh huh, yea, so Floyd is doing nothing wrong.

    Um, OK.

I don't see Marquez have 31 fights OVER the Lightweight limit.

I'm not saying Floyd is making a bad choice, he's been out for 2 years, but this is NOT a big fight.

This is a Tune-Up. And as such, should be treated as one.

If this is not treated as a tune-up, then, well, Mayweather really is taking the piss out of this sport, the foney

Duran had already left 135 for good over two years before facing Leonard anyway.

Not a good comparison(since Duran had fights at WW before SRL)...but I don't think the size will be a key factor in this fight anyway...

I stated my opinion in my thread...

Floyd would whip Duran's ass at any weight. Floyd drills free swingers.

Duran had proven himself at WW before SRL. JMM has not had a chance to do so. Good thread.

Henry Armstrong beat welterweights while he was a lightweight...why can't Marquez?
