Why didn’t everyone suck off Jeff Horn after he beat Pacquiao? His win was just as convincing as Ugas’.

I think it’s because no one wanted him to win.

The groups that usually root against Pacquiao aren’t exactly fans of white, educated foreigners.

It definatley wasn't as convincing, ugas stood in front of Pac and clean out boxed him, Horn won some rounds and some were debatable in a scrap, messy fight that was hard to score and Horn used every dirty tactic in the book.

And in FAR from an LDBC member but also unlike them I don't blindly support fighters because they have the same skin colour as me.

Don't bother. It is not about the color. .aybe because he's Cuban.

Pac took a fight in Australia. Took the risk and the loss.

Took the Ugas fight on 11 days notice at 42 years old.

Horn via unanimous decision: 117-111, 115-113 twice

Ugas via unanimous decision: 116-112 twice, 115-113

WBO rescore of Pacquiao-Horn: 115-113 Horn

Its the same kind of win. Ugas did not clearly outbox Pacquiao and neither did Horn. Both fights were 7-5 either way or 6-6.

Ugas didn’t have 11 days notice.

He had months and months of notice.

He was the replacement opponent during covid-19 and was assigned a no-hoper so he could put on a good show in the incredibly likely event he had to step in.

Very interesting and colorful description of the reaction to Horn winning here.

pac landed at will on horn and dropped him. pac barely landed on ugas

                  fights arent comparable.

                    They're incredibly comparable.

Both are 115-113 either way or draw type fights.

Both were unanimous decision victories for the opponent.

The only difference is Horn did it when Pacquiao wasn’t 43 and coming off a two year layoff.
