When you have 2 up and comers (Andrade and Charlo are 33 and 31 btw!!!, kind of crazy to call them up and comers still), you would think that they would either 1) eventually get a fight vs another top guy, or 2) eventually fight each other.
For whatever reason, neither one of those things has really happened. To me Charlo seems to have/have had more options - Benevidez, Plant, Jacobs all come to mind. Andrade has GGG and Canelo, but neither appears too keen to fight him.
But when you're 33 and 31, at the end of the day, it's on you to find the big fight. GGG waiting on Canelo pretty much worked. Maybe something like will work for Charlo or Andrade.
It is insane to me to think that Andrade is 33 already and has somehow found a way to not fight - Canelo, Lara, either Charlo, GGG, Jacobs, Derevy. I mean geez wtf. Why. Boxing sucks man.
Charlo has only fought one of those five (can't fight his bro) himself. Sh.it like this just pisses me off just reading it.

To establish balance.
On this website, Canelo Alvarez is praised for fighting a 40 year old alcoholic who can’t even go the distance with an elite level fighter while GGG is criticized for fighting champions in their prime.

GGG's only real close fight was vs Derevy. Not a bad resume at all, compared to virtually anyone considering how many good fighters he fought - and before you respond 'who' - keep in mind Jermell lost to Tony, and Castano in most people's eyes, and Jermall just went and had a tough fight vs (who) Montiel. Running through good fighters like GGG did is NOT easy

These guys Charlo, Andrade are doing **** all.
GGG is certifying the A side and negotation fees.
He had it anyways but there's more politics out of the way with him holding two straps.
If Charlo and Andrade were fighting anyone and everyone, it would make GGG look bad by comparison too. But as you said, they are doing hardly anything. It's hard to claim you are being ducked and are doing all you can to make a big fight...when you are fighting Montiel, Hogan, and Adams in 3 of your last 4. And all 6 of Andrade's guys, besides maybe Sulecki and Williams, are, I mean, what can you say about that. It's sad

It’s a good thing half of his DAZN deal is in stock options or they would be losing a ton of money on BBB side.
Once Canelo killed his boogeyman status he’s looked like ass. Should have had an L in that Derv fight. He got outboxed all night.

But Charlo-Derev was a very tough, close, competitive fight. If you've watched 10 fights, you should know what a tough close fight looks like. GGG's only close fight on the cards was vs Derev. Hate if you want to but acting like Jacobs or Canelo 1 or 2 had any claim to even a draw in those fights is dumb.
And who else would he have gone life and death with? He outlanded the guys in those 3 fights by like 120+ punches total lol. And Idk if he even went the distance with anyone else.
So the most anyone could even try to argue about going life and death, is 3 guys. How is that a lot, when you've fought 40 guys. I mean why don't yall make any damn sense. WhyLast edited by Boxing-1013; 08-30-2021, 04:41 PM.

It's sadAndrade/Charlo/Benevidez are all less proven than ggg,& don't deserve praise for their lackluster careers either.
But its crazy how life comes full circle, those that once shtted on others end up getting shtted on like ggg... & many others. He once was the loudest boxer on earth when it came to what he represented compared to other fighters,& now he is being called out for not backing it up anywhere near enough & fakely destroying his last years.
He can fight any 1 of those safe fights(safe in that hed go down thought of very highly & praised if he won,& if he lost it would be by decision & likely contestable decision v any of those)
Ggg can easily go out in a manner befitting his career,by going toe to toe with Charlo or Andrade especially,or hed have a claim of 1 upping Canelo by beating Benevidez & saying" Canelo ducked him",its a damn shame that hes going to likely go out as never being the same after fighting Canelo.
