This thread's been done to death homey. Duran became a top WW contender by defeatin Palamino at WW before he faced SRL. He had a fight there to test himself at WW 1st. JMM has not.

The size differential between Oscar and Floyd is bigger than the differential between Floyd and Marquez.

Duran came UP to fight SRL from LW after ruling there for a decade, SRL didn't avoid all the possible top WW fights he had in front of him and then take a catch weigth fight against a featherweight who fought at LW twice and at SFW 3 times.

          Perspective motherfcuker, deal with it.

wouldn't floyd be the favourite to beat cotto, pacquiao or mosley too?

floyd was p4p no 1 at the time, just like how marquez is p4p no 2 right now, some consider him no 1 cos he beat pacquiao twice
