    did nike drop floyd???

in 24/7 at the end, all the mayweathers were wearing reebok instead of nike...

I'm thinking that's not coincidence, but a product placement by floyd and reebok. anyone know what the deal is?

I don't think they ever actually had a deal in the first place. There were talks about him signing with Jordan Brand as some might remember the Mitchell fight which was sponsored by Jordan Brand and Jordan himself was at the fight. From there he and his team could be seen sporting JB gear but it may have just been on a fight-to-fight basis instead of a contact for a specified period.

Nike is a wholesome family oriented company and they don't like an arrogant thug promoting their product lines.

Reebok has been aggressive in connecting to the urban/hip-hop audience and demographic.

Reebok created imprints for the Jay-Z sneaker, for Ice Cream (Pharrell), for Fabolous, etc.

It seems to make sense for FMJ to be there.

Just to clarify, Jordan Brand is a subdivision of Nike and is run independent to an extent. They have their own athletes, shoes/clothing, marketing, etc.
